North Bethesda

North Bethesda is very similar to that of its sister community to the south. There is evidence of a colonial presence and rural farming activity from the late 17th to the late 18th century. Like Bethesda and other outlying communities of Washington, D.C., North Bethesda grew in size and scope with the arrival of light rail at the turn of the 19th century.
